Polls:Hillary does much better than McCain and Obama in Kentucky (and FL, OH, PA)
Earth calling Obamites: you're screwed.

Polls:Hillary does much better than McCain and Obama in Kentucky (and FL, OH, PA)

The latest Rasmussen poll of Kentucky voters shows Hillary beating McCain and McCain beating Obama in the general election in that state:
Clinton 51% …. Obama 32%
McCain 42% McCain 57%

A few days ago, Rasmussen reported the following polling results regarding Pennsylvania’s presidential election in November 2008:.
Clinton 50% …. Obama 45%
McCain 39% McCain 43%

Both polls show Hillary doing very well, but the headlines of Rasmussen’s reports do not mention Hillary at all. I suppose we should be grateful that Rasmussen is still including questions about Hillary in surveys (unlike some other polling outfits).

Recent polls from Quinnipiac have more good news for Hillary: she’s beating McCain in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania:

FL .OH PA
Clinton 48% 48% 50%
McCain 41% 41% 37%

Obama 41% 40% 46%
McCain 45% 44% 40%

Meanwhile, the news is not so good for Obama, who is losing to McCain in Florida and Ohio but beating McCain in Pennsylvania.

5. You forgot West Virginia....
West Pennsyltucky and Southern Ohio will always be pretty red....as will Florida.

...and Florida has the added factor of an excessively high aged population.

Your point?

11. Go to RealClearPolitics
and check out their averages for recent polls in swing states. They have Obama winning 284 to 254 in the Electoral College, but Clinton losing 261 to 277.

Don't take my word for it; do the math yourself. It only takes about five or six minutes and a little bit of clicking back and forth.

Not that any of this matters, since the election is more than 23 weeks away. But I think it's healthy to deal with reality, even when it is unpleasant. You should give it a shot.

17. What is your point? Clinton's not the nominee, nor will she be.
Edited on Mon May-26-08 10:59 PM by gristy
How is this relevant? Are you suggesting that the Dems choose their nominee by polling now? Do you expect us to think this approach is a good idea or workable in any way?

Unless somehow you're not counting the many millions of black blue collar workers who have already voted for Obama.

Which I think you should. :spank:

20. If you really believe what you're saying
then you're screwed too, right? I don't doubt for a second that you're a good, if eccentric, Democrat, Perry. This man is going to be the nominee. Seems you have some issues to work through.
