15. I'll bet he's looking at that little baby he's holding in one of the photos - and thinking

that it seems like yesterday when his older daughter was that small. And both his daughters are still so young. The older one is getting taller and more grown-up looking every day. You can bet he's noticing - just another nervous dad.

BTW - GREAT photos! I love the faces in the crowd. Everyone smiling and excited and thrilled to meet him or shake his hand or make sure he sees them waving at him or try to take his picture - like they all Get It.

And THEY are all thinking - "WHOA! I'm THISCLOSE to the Next President of the United States!"

21. Tried to get back to post again, but life intervened.

I'd gone to the Cryptome site in the course of looking into the level of Obama's Secret Service protection. It had been given to him earlier than ever to a presidential candidate, and increased after Iowa. So, I wondered if it had been increased again since all the assassination talk lately. It looks like it has.

Personally. I'm worried sick about Obama's safety, and I hate feeling this way, so my questions about the security levels surrounding Obama was grounded in my unease.

It did give me some level of comfort, armed men walking in the parade in San Juan, sharpshooters on roof tops, and a very large detail of Secret Service, including several - not just one or two - "body men".

Like I said, it creeps me out to feel this way, but having lived through the pain of major political assignations in our country - JFK, MKL, RFK, MX - and several attempted ones, including Reagan, and Ford, it's an unease that continues.

Those huge crowds where Obama practically wades right into 'em must be a total nightmare for the SS.
