Ghoulish.
That is the correct word in the English language for Hillary's -- and
Hagee's -- comments.

Ghoulish.

It's a great word. And it means exactly what Hillary's (and Hagee's)
comments meant.

Expecting people still trapped in New Orleans to die while
"doing everything to encourage them to evacuate" was ghoulish.

Expecting the WTC to be attacked again and making plans for
the new owner to rebuild it BEFORE 9-11 because of code violations
in the original building -- as Giuliani did -- was enormously ghoulish.

Ghoulish means expecting, counting on the worst to happen in order
to advance one's expectations, whether or not you inwardly profess
to wish no ill will on anyone.

One does not have to feel Schadenfreude for the misfortunate to be
ghoulish.

One may simply be a "prudent planner". Like Dr. Strangelove.

One may simply be an average American, looking to be entertained or
even "morally vindicated" (because you get to inflict righteous
outrage on the perpetrator you yourselves sat back and expected
to act) by enormously violent human events.

An all too common urge.

When Bush and Hillsary say we will kill every Iranian man, woman
and child "IF -- AS EXPECTED" Iran kills all the Jews in Israel,
that is abominable and the very definition of the word ghoulish.

And how is it any more ghoulish than what Hagee or Hillary said
in the past 24 hours? It is not.

1. And needless to say, the RFK comment was the very definition of the word.

4. Yes like OBLITERATE every man, woman and child residing in Iran :(
Perhaps I'm biased because I was born in Iran because my father was on a diplomatic mission way back during the Shah's rein.

Make no mistake, as disgusting as the thought of a theological dictatorship, the Shah of Iran was WORSE. My father and mother have told me horror stories of how the people were constantly being taken by their infamous "secret police."

Yes, I'm clearly prejudice because, although I am a full American citizen (former US Army Officer), the mere thought of "my birthplace" being blown to kibbles and bits makes me openly weep.

Beyond my selfish sentiments above, the Average Iranian Citizen doesn't deserve to be OBLITERATED, do they?

5. To me, ghoulish indicates a sense of detachment, of prudent anticipation of others' misfortoune.
