the whole time - the expression on her face looked like she was

a. pissed off

b. annoyed because she had to even be there

9. Exactly.. the "if" and the "regret" but no "sorry" and it's projecting
the responsibility on those who might have been offended - she took no personal responsibility whatsoever.
And even if the word "sorry" comes out of someone's mouth, it's not necessarily an apology. "I'm sorry YOU (feel that way/were offended/fill in the _______" is NOT an apology. It HAS to be "I'm sorry I (said that/did that/offended you/fill in the _________."

13. Exactly. We beat up rethugs when they do it, but some are willing to turn a blind eye when one ....
of our 'so called' own does the exact same thing. I didn't give McCain a pass when he apologized to "anyone he MIGHT feel offended", and I will not give Hillary a pass for doing the same thing.

and expression. It's a very striking disassociation. That's not, it appears to me, remorse or a struggle to be understood. That's anger. She knows she's done.
