McCain Judges Obama, That ‘Young Man’

STOCKTON, Calif.—Now who’s making age an issue?
Senator John McCain mocked Senator Barack Obama here today at an airport rally, repeatedly calling him a “young man” with “very little experience.”

Mr. McCain, 71, who would become, if he is elected, the oldest first-term president in history, has been laying out a case against Mr. Obama based upon judgment and experience.

But this time he introduced a new moniker for Mr. Obama, repeatedly calling him “young man.”
“I admire and respect Senator Obama,” Mr. McCain said, his voice full of sarcasm. “For a young man with very little experience, he’s done very well.”

He went on: “For his very, very great lack of experience and knowledge of the issues, he’s been very successful. So don’t get me wrong, I admire and respect Senator Obama, but he does not have the knowledge background or judgment to lead this nation in these difficult and challenging times and I do, and I can keep this nation prosperous and secure.”

When Mr. Obama, 46, earlier this month said Mr. McCain was “losing his bearings” for suggesting the terrorist group, Hamas, favored Mr. Obama, the McCain campaign issued an angry statement.
“He used the words ‘losing his bearings’ intentionally, a not-particularly-clever way of raising John McCain’s age as an issue,” said Mark Salter, a senior McCain aide.

:) This is going to be a fun GE. I look forward to the Obama camp's response.

2. McCain is going to have a full out blowout
sometime in this campaign. The fact that he's been establishing himself as a reformer since the Keating 5 and now Obama is taking that mantle...is really getting to this old fart.

The Dean Scream will seem mild.

10. Probably going to be on the straight talk express
The man doesn't handle questions he doesn't like very well. He'll probably going into a swearing tirade at the press corp on a bad news day for him.

The debate he'll just have veins popping from his bulbous head and they'll give him extra medication before.

I put the hose on you!

Chuck Todd talked about this on Countdown. McCain is pissed because Obama took the mantle of "reformer" from him, and he's kicking his ass with it while McCain has to deal with the bad PR of lobbyists. He has gotten the best press of any candidate I can think of in recent history, he is starting to majorly freak out that any "questions could be asked". McCain admitted in his book that the "straight talk express" was a PR decision to get him past Keating 5.

McCain is going to have a Britney Spears style meltdown soon, and it's going to be glorious.

"You fucking jackals why are you asking me these questions and you over there your a fucking cunt"

McCain has a reputation on the hill from being one of the most foul mouthed and nasty Senators. He's challenge colleagues to fights many times and that is when he's dealing with fellow republicans. The man is unstable and its going to come out.

McCain has a thing up his craw ever since McCain tried to stall ethics reform and Obama out maneuvered him in the Senate. He thought he could play games with the Freshman Senator and was sorely mistaken.

He didn't realize the state senate in Illinois is similar to the United States Senate as far as rules as posturing.

13. Republicans act like choosing a president is the same as
choosing a plumber, as if there are no values or ideologies at work here.

And, as far as I can tell, the only experience that would prepare one to be a president is actually being the president. Look at Nixon, all the experience in the world and a miserable presidency. One could even argue that Bush I is in the same camp.

15. ...repeatedly calling him a "young man"...
....that's right johnny, he's a 'young man' compared to an old-antique relict like you....and compared to you, I'm even young....

....I know it makes you angry johnny, that an articulate, good-looking, better-educated, intelligent black man is going is going to whip your white ass this November....this understandable....

....for I too am old and like you johnny, I resent losing the capabilities I once had....I resent seeing those lost capabilities manifest themselves in others not quite so old as I....I bet you even resent waking up 2-3 times in the middle of the night to piss....

....but it's ok johnny, it's all part of becoming old....
