Elliot's report on Kerry in 1969

Lieutenant Commander George Elliott, one of the men involved in the attacks on Kerry's Vietnam record of service now, filled out the following report on Kerry back then:

"In a combat environment often requiring independent, decisive action LTJG Kerry was unsurpassed. He constantly reviewed tactics and lessons learned in river operations and applied his experience at every opportunity. One on occasion while in tactical command of a three boat operation his units were taken under fire from ambush. LTJG rapidly assessed the situation and ordered his units to turn directly into the ambush. This decision resulted in routing the attackers with several enemy KIA.

"LTJG Kerry emerges as the acknowledged leader in his peer group. His bearing and appearance are above reproach. He has of his own volition learned the Vietnamese language and is instrumental in the successful Vietnamese training program.

"During the period of this report LTJG Kerry has been awarded the Silver Star medal, the Bronze Star medal, the Purple Heart medal (2nd and 3rd awards)."

"acknowledged leader in his peer group."

Doesn't this mean that his fellow swift boat commanders deemed him a leader?

And how did Elliott come to that conclusion?

Might it not be that he asked around?

7. Actually....

this commercial is the desperate grasps of a group of extreme right-wing republicans who are aware they are starting to lose the election. This commercial will back-fire on them for two reasons: first, good people like you will expose it as a lie; and second, even the less-educated and docile masses will be repulsed by it. It will take a place beyond the "daisy chain" and Willie Horton commercials, and be remembered as the most stark example of a failure.

The commercial only appeals to the most vicious and hateful people in America. The democrats and left-leaning people obviously will not change their minds about Kerry because of it. And the "undecideds" are going to see McCain and others react negatively to it, and it will turn them away from those who peddle such hateful shit.

I'm more concerned about what else is coming up ... because these are people without any sense of decency or honor. They are immoral snakes. And they will strike again, and again.

I do thank you helping to expose the commercial for the worthless trash that it is.

Another aspect is that people who are truly undecided might be affected by the White House's refusal to condemn this.

Allthough, I understand they have suggested that both campaigns stop using 527 groups ads.

What a smarmy bunch they are! They know they have much more money than Kerry and can afford to do that.

8. So the question then becomes was he lying then or now?

Either way he has shown himself a LIAR. The same with the Medical Doctor who says he attended Kerry's wounds but name does not show up anyplace in Kerry's medical records. Liberal is another name for truthful while Conservative appears to be another name for Scheming Lying,Scum. "Liberal Media" = Truthful Media. The truth to a Conservative is like the sunlight to a vampire.
