"Now THIS is my idea of a swift boat!"

"Ah, yes, this is the life. Three 275HP motors, a yacht, fishing the morning off the rocky coast of Kennebunkport, far from that dreadful photo-op pig farm they made me buy to look Texan. Pass the canapes, Jenna. DAMN IT!!!! %%#@@ I wanted lobster canapes not these damn cucumber ones that Winslow always packs! Turn this boat around, Condi!"

2. No, they have a "fishing guide"
The War President doesn't even haul his own catch in.

An unidentified fishing guide pulls a 38-inch striped bass from the water as President Bush with his daughter's Jenna, second right, and Barbara, right, look on off the coast of Kennebunkport, Maine., Saturday morning Aug. 7, 2004.

8. Damn so much for my evil diabolical plan
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 05:15 PM by Massacure
To ask George W. Bush to fish in my local pond that only has Bullheads.

:P

EDIT: To those who don't know what bullhead are, they are fish that have whiskers on the side of their snout. They use them as singers. They usually aren't a problem if you holdd the fish right, but they can be a pain in the ass to those people that are unsuspecting.

12. As a kid
Grandpa took the bullheads off the hook for me. I surely miss fishing with Grandpa, for even better reasons than not getting stung by the fish.

4. Fire One!!!... Fire Two!!!
Yes, a couple of wake homing torpedoes should take care of that target of opportunity and I'll bet that boat isn't "swift" enough to outrun them. :hi:

5. notice the "Team Foundation Mercury" there on the side?
last year * had the boat Fidelity II, now it's a new boat "Fidelity III" and the Mercury logo on the side. Wonder how much Mercury paid for that boat and/or the advertising on it?

Apparently he didn't have any inkling whatsoever so he went fishing instead.

10. Is this his first family outing with the girls in like...forever???
When was the last time this "family values" man had an outing with his entire family? He wouldn't even go to the girls graduation. He had no problem going to other graduation exercises though, as a speaker. This is actually a touching scene.

Nothing is done without a reason in this Rovian world. "A family that fishes together" ... etc.

Flys with barbless hooks for catch-and-release. Keep one or two for supper or breakfast, but don't Bogart that fish my friend.
