Chicago, IL –Today, United States Congressman Pete Stark (D-CA) endorsed Barack Obama.

Congressman Stark said, “Senator Barack Obama has captured the imagination of Americans in a way we’ve not seen for decades. He’s inspired millions of young people to register to vote and join the ranks of our Democratic Party, he’s consistently opposed the war, he advocates universal health care, and he delivers a message that transcends party politics at the same time.

“I have the greatest respect for Senator Clinton and for her many years of service, but I believe the time has come to unify our party. The outcome we need in November is a Democratic President. To achieve that, we must turn our focus squarely on Senator McCain and his quest to continue another four years of the failed Bush agenda.

2) Obama's number jumped 13 points from yesterday. That is a combination of (5)Super Delegates, (7)Edwards Pleged Delegates Endorsing and adjustments in (1)NC final delegate adjustment.

3) This weekend 8 Add on Super Delegates will be announced including 5 from CA - which Hillary won but now polls show would have gone for Obama.

Colorado 1 5/17/2008 Selected during the State Convention
Kansas 1 5/17/2008 Selected during the State Convention
Nevada 1 5/17/2008 Selected by the state convention as a whole
California 5 5/18/2008 Selected during the Delegation Meeting

4) Note Tuesday has 125 Pledged Delegates to be decided in KY and OR. The 'Pelosi' number will be reached by Obama who now only has 17 pledged delegates to go.

5) Obama's Delegate lead has grown now to 185 and his popular vote lead is 610,000

6)More Delegate News will be posted below

11. Hawaii has 3 add ons to be added in June
One of the ones most likely to be appointed endorses Obama

HONOLULU -- Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann announced on Thursday he is endorsing Sen. Barack Obama for president.

Earlier, Hannemann said he felt both candidates offered a good option for the country.

"Sen. (Hillary) Clinton has great aloha for the people of Hawaii, and would make a fine president. But I feel that Barack Obama offers the best hope for our nation during these troubling times," Hannemann said in a written statement

15. Edwards delegate Hemingway endorses 119.5
http://www.nbcaugusta.com/news/local/19013919.html

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP)- Seven South Carolina delegates once
committed to former presidential candidate John Edwards are now
endorsing Barack Obama.

The former North Carolina senator won eight delegates with a distant third place finish in South Carolina's primary in January and decided to leave the race.

On Friday, Marilyn Hemingway and Christine Bond confirmed they've joined five other delegates supporting Obama. The remaining delegate, Tim Moore of Barnwell, said he is not yet ready to commit to anyone other than Edwards.

The delegate support comes after Edwards publicly endorsed Obama
earlier this week. Obama is considered the front-runner in the Democratic race for president, ahead of rival Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Is this the final flame out? Please, please let it be so.

How much longer does the democratic party have to put up with this power struggle?

20. Why do we get an updated...
...delegate count when many here insist Obama is already the Nominee?

Oh, that's right, he ISN'T the Nominee yet.

23. What's the Pelosi number if Fl and MI are seated
at 100% or 50%? Is Obama likely to reach this number on Tuesday under these scenarios? I know that they don't count, but I'm just looking for some ammunition against the Hillary supporters who will try to rain on our pledged delegate majority victory parade.
