Bush said he doesn't want to be President!!......REALLY!
Now this article is a jewel for so many reasons....but this is MY favorite.
quote...
Mr. Bush added: "This is a dangerous time. I wish it wasn't this way. I wish I wasn't the war president. Who in the heck wants to be a war president? I don't. But this is what came our way."
.......end quote

1. more
At one point, some of Mr. Bush's listeners began laughing when the president became tangled up in response to a question about the meaning of tribal sovereignty in the 21st century, and how Americans should resolve conflicts between tribes and the federal and state governments.

"Tribal sovereignty means that it's sovereign," Mr. Bush replied. "You're a - you've been given sovereignty and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities."

2. It's "I wish I WEREN'T", not "WASN''T" and I wish that someone
would teach George Bush some grammar. Is it too much to ask that the President of the U.S. understand the correct use of the conditional tense?

3. You know what I love about BugBrain's quotes?
They always take everything he says, verbatim. They include the 'ah's, the 'uh's, 'see, they hate our....', the stammering, the back-ups, the corrections.

I just LOVE it because even the freepie networks do it. Even articles on the Internet include every Faux Pas. I think it's Passive-Aggressive payback.

4. "Ya see Tim, I'm a WAR president"

Flippity Floppity.

Of course, Bush also said that a dictatorship would be easier so long as HE is the dictator. The inference is pretty clear. Bush would rather be an emperor than an elected president.

Don't think that they won't TRY if they get another four years in the big house. Bush is the perfect puppet stooge. I could easily see the neo-cons attempting to repeal the 2 term rule and turn BushCo into the anti-Roosevelt (which he really DOES style himself as).

6. If Bush had used pre-emptive reasoning, he could have avoided
it all. But then he would have been a Demcorat.
