What do you plan on doing this weekend and next week to help Kerry?
This week I had a few meetings with other members of my committee, I have planned a volunteer meeting for the Kerry campaign in two weeks (my last party was a Dem convention party...this one is volunteer business)

I am also planning a voter registration table for my community yard sale next week so I have to secure some voter registration forms.

I am committed to selling tickets to a Democratic fundraiser in our area at $100 a pop...so if you live in SW Pa...let me know...this fundraiser is a BLAST!!! no joking...

So what are yinz guys doing?

9. I know its getting close to crunch time...but..
the next two weeks are going to be very busy for me at the Greenville Rec Dept.... Greenville has its big Danish Festival Aug. 20 thru the 22nd... my supervisor is going spastic...

Anyway... I am going to see if the Democrats are putting up a booth downtown and will volunteer some hours manning the station.. if not.. I will find out why.

After the Festival.. my hours are getting cut back and I am going to go door to door looking for unregistered voters.

I am in the planning stages of holding a house party...

My daughter is a senior and I have been working with her to find the 18 year olds in her class that are not registered....and have a pool party with registration forms handy.

That is more like what I will be doing in the month of Aug.. rather than the next couple of weeks....

For those of you in West Michigan... Huckleberry's in downtown Greenville is having a Pro Kerry meeting on Aug. 26th at 7:00 pm...

Be there... or be square...

13. I am trying to get my hands on absentee ballots but no one has them
many of my mom's friends flee to Florida for the winter...so they want to vote now to make sure they give Kerry their vote.

15. Moi?
I don't have the time to spend a day doing things because the old man's treatment requirements gives me four hour windows to do things in between his needs, so I have commited myself to precinct walking two hours a week until the election. This is something I can do, without feeling guilty.
