Kerry will win - in a landslide- it's in the bag- here's why:
I was gonna put this on my blog, but frankly, I've blogged enough on SwiftBoatgate.

But here's the thing: the way in which Conason, Brock, Atrios, Dailykos, et al. were on this thing like a cheap suit suggests to me that the Bushbots don't realize that they're "fighting the last war" when it comes to this election campaign.

They were dumb enough to believe that they were up against Michael Dukakis or Al Gore.

They don't realize that John Kerry - and us- are pretty resourceful, and that we have a few tricks up our sleeve they didn't think of.

This is 2004, and having an Arkansas Project doesn't cut it anymore- the Kerry folks and the 527's expected it, and had their guns loaded so to speak.

It's been a massive slaughter (metaphorically speaking) in the blogosphere today on Corsi, "Swift Boat Liars" and their fellow travelers at the Free Republic.

Kudos to everyone involved in this- you are true patriots!

6. that's our job...
we've got to talk this up on right-wing talk radio.

Mention mediamatters.org. Be to the point.

Remember, they'll dominate the discussion-just get your points in.

It'll be OK.

3. Yeah, they think this is 1988 and they are
going up against Dukasis but Kerry is not going to roll-over like that and neither are his supporters. Whenever I come across anti-Kerry crap (no matter what kind of board it is) I will not let it go unanswered. The repukes need learn that they better have proof and links for all their shitty lies because they going to be called on it EVERYTIME!

5. I sure hope you are right
but I've yet to see much evidence for it, at least not from the Kerry campaign.

9. Kerry Posted War Records On His Site
be sure whenever you defend Kerry's military record to include the link:

http://www.johnkerry.com/about/john_kerry/military_records.html

Also, maybe steer clear of calling "Veterans for Truth" liars (even if we think they are). I don't think ANY of these VFTs were actually on the boat with Kerry, some were just in the vicinity. So, maybe their memories are altered. I mean, after all, they were in such horrible conditions and who was John Kerry to them back then? But Rasmussen, he was the one Kerry pulled out of the water, so the event had a lot more meaning for him than for witnesses. And the military records of the time back up Kerry and Rasmussen's account.

And of course, we can understand why they resent him speaking out against the war after he returned, but isn't doing something unpopular because you feel it is right a sign of leadership?

8. Without Any Major Events I Believe Kerry Wins...
The only thing that can change the dynamic in *'s favor is a terrorist attack and that's too awful to contemplate.......

10. IMO, the right wing cabal has wells of money and they spend it
in very un-American ways. However, when we have a stupid campaign such as the Kerry swiftboat attack, it makes me think that someone such as Mellon Scaife is demanding it by paying for it. It is as stupid as Whitewater and the other dark attacks on Clinton, however, at the time we didn't know how black their agenda was. Now WE know better. Hopefully, the right wing lemmings will learn to know better.
