Hey, I just heard Keith talk about Obama's "working class" problem, which, quite frankly I wasn't aware that he had. I can tell you what impressed me, being a card carrying member of the working class - and that is what Obama said when asked if raising the retirement age was a solution to the Social Security problem.
Listen, I know that there is no social security problem, except that a lot of rich repubs want to shovel it to their wall street donors, but what Obama said really resonated with me. I can't remember what debate it was, but he said something along the line of "if you have been working since you were 15, you shouldn't have to keep working until you are 70".
if you have been working since you were 15 and I have been, boy do I understand what he is saying. if you have been working since you were 15 . The sound of those words.
A very strong message to the working class, it should get out there.
ps Obama was not my first choice, but I will proudly cast my vote for him.
