Think they'll cancel the Repub convention?
Are they that nervous about protestors? Will they move it to Texas?

3. After being at the DNC last week
I can say there's no way in hell they'll move it to another city at this late date. It can't be done, its impossible for another city to do what needs to be done with a month's notice.

4. Maybe not cancel it, but make it impossible for Bush to give his
acceptance speech "live". He'll videotape it, in advance.....so they can edit out the "ehs", "ers", and his general mangling of the English language.

6. What if they have to delay it? Gives * more time to spend money
on commercials attacking Kerry. Remember what Kerry was thinking of doing? Not accepting the nom until later. If they have to delay it for a few weeks...all the better for * side.

I really wouldn't put anything past these people at this point.

9. If there is a real threat
they'll cancel it. No way they will risk having a whole bunch of Republicans getting offed by Al Qaida. THey will move the damn thing to a Wal-Mart parking lot in Des Moines before they let that happen.

No way they would have let Laura and the girls have coffee at that building in NYC if there was really a serious threat.

Now will they play this for all it's worth. You can bet the house on it.
