Clinton said last week that all she wanted for Mother’s Day was a day off. But on Sunday she’ll be making at least three campaign stops in West Virginia, a state she has called a “test” for herself and Barack Obama.

Today, Clinton marked the holiday by appearing with Chelsea at a low-dollar fundraiser in Midtown Manhattan. And she talked about the epic campaign, joking that it seems like it began “a 100 years ago.”

Hallmark's got nothin' on the Clinton campaign, which is now using the Mother's Day theme to tug hard -- really hard, like heart-strings broken hard - to raise cash and support. This one has Chelsea talking about how her mom has alway run -- run to her recitals, run home to be with her for dinner, run, run, run -- and how Chelsea wants to give her mom a special Mother's Day tribute, and have you to sign a card for Hillary. But unlike the one you give your own mother, this card will result in a follow-up asking for money. Or maybe your mom does ask for money, but around my house, it was the other way around.
