Wouldn't it HELP Hillary's campaign to suspend it now/soon?

Obama now has the lead in every category imaginable, even if you include Michigan and Florida. Her only hope is that some scandal destroys Sen. Obama and makes him unelectable.

While she continues her futile struggle to not lose as badly as she already is, she has become a national laughing stock. Every comedian uses her for a punchline. Every pundit uses her for a punching bag. Also her negative poll numbers have increased. She seems to be doing more damage than good lately, to herself as well as to our presumptive nominee.

Wouldn't suspending her campaign lessen the number of jokes and the number of attacks from the media? She would still be there to be nominated at the convention IF Obama self-destructs.

What exactly is the up side of continuing at this point? Simply proving that she will continue to fight even when it is foolish to do so? Just because Shrub does that too does not mean it is Presidential.

1. Hillary is crazy...she doesn't base her decisions on logic but on lottery type odds.
I'd love to see our candidates on "deal or no deal"...I think I know who would come home with a decent win and who would be wiped out.

2. Good question
Another thing to look at is the amount of debt she already has, and the fact that everyday she is increasing that debt! Why? She should pay of the debts she has, and stop making more.

I agree with you, she is doing more damage to herself than good. If she continues to attack Obama she could commit political suicide, since it make it look like she is trying to destroy him so if she can't win, neither can he. It tends to make it look like she really is trying to kill his chances so she can run again in 2012.

3. on 2012
in the scenario she is killing herself politically, how could she then be thought of as viable for 2012?

seems to me that, if attacking obama so that he loses/onward to 2012 were the tactic, she'd quit, preserving her image, and silently support mccain.

my thoughts are that perhaps she is trying to prove that WV and KY argument, that w/ those wins, she proves that obama "needs" her to carry such states in the GE, therefore, he must choose her for his running mate (please don't do it obama).
