What a shame. Buzzflash was the first, great, purely liberal outlet I ever stumbled onto. And now they're quoting Nooner and calling her a wise sage.

23. here's your answer
I don't agree with them doing it ,hopefully that particular writer will not do such a bs thing again. Now do you agree with Hillary meeting Richard Mellon Scaife before all the rightwing radio attacks on Obama. Also do you agree with operation chaos?

2. Buzzflash like all other progressive sites that have battled the GOP for years and years
know that sometimes, even shills are correct....although not often.

Now, are you one of the ones who watched the last primary returns on Fox News where you felt that Hillary would get "fairer and more balanced" coverage?

4. Well, it was Peggy Noonan vs. Pat Buchanan on this issue.
If you'd rather take Pat Buchanan's side you are welcome to it.

racket that Karl Rove has worked on since he was a member of CREEP in 1972.

Peggy Noonan!

The Weekly Standard is the subject of a thread today here, while Drudge reigns supreme. Go figure.

Edited on Sat May-10-08 05:12 PM by K Gardner
Mark Karlin IS one of the most progressive people I've ever spoken to and worked with. He was on the forefront of this fight before it became "popular". He hasn't changed. Hillary Clinton has turned the playing field upside down.

10. Nothing happened to Buzzflash.
Peggy just happened to not be a complete whack-job for a moment. Buzzflash gets the job done all day, everyday and is a fantastic site. Its been my homepage for years, and my only reason for posting in this thread is to give my support to one of the greatest liberal locations on the internet.

12. It's a good piece.
And I was actually amused watching Peggy Noonan slice-n-dice Pat Buchanan on "Morning Joe" just the other day.

The other day, some Hillary supporter posted a lengthy article here on DU written by Jonah f'n Goldberg, and agreed with it wholeheartedly.

This primary is making us all nuts.

20. Peggy is old-school and I think she's always been anti-Hillary
so of course she would write things like that.. It just so happens that HILLARY deserves it this time..

13. It's democratic to reference even non-democrats
I've been reading Buzzflash for years -- it's always been top-notch as a source of information and it still is. I think Peggy Noonan is an idiot, but occasionally, even idiots say things that I agree with. I know I'm a newbie poster, but I've been a DU reader also for years -- and it is democratic to reference even people who are not democrats. That's what makes us different than Freeperville.

Now I know how a Freeper would feel if they went to TownHall.com and saw a Gary Wills column.

17. You're more concerned with loyalty than observable reality
Noonan is just stating the obvious, and has been for a while. All the people who are posting her screaming 'it's a media trap!!!1!' are just trying to position themselves as smarter by using emotional arguments that appeal to DU readers' generalised dislike of Republicans and Republican sympathizers.

18. Pshaw
This is a case of a rabid pro-Obama editor who has become so blinded to what they're doing in spreading the "pit women against Hillary" strategy, that they doesn't even care they're re-printing a champion Republican fellater.

21. I think you make my point for me
I really don't care that Peggy Noonan is a champion Republican fellater (thanks for the gratuitous sexism, by the way). As I said, she's just stating the obvious. That she's saying something which I can see for myself to be true doesn't mean I'm going to look to her for guidance in all other matters.

22. It's not as if HRC, aka, the Great WHITE Hope has been acting democratic by using "The Southern ...
Strategy.

Besides, Noonan is "at times" somewhat lucid. Not at all like that vicious Ann Coulter who only spews hatred and divisiveness.

At least Noonan actually analyzes EVENTS of the Nation.

Helping Democrats probably isn't Noonan's top priority, but she is nevertheless a seasoned DC observer and political analyst. She may be onto something here. Who has the ability to change this campaign's dynamic? Who can influence Hillary Clinton now? And who can start the party's healing?

Dianne Feinstein?
Barbara Boxer?
Kim Gandy?
Ellen R. Malcolm?
Elizabeth Edwards?
Gloria Steinem?
Uncommitted superdelegates such as Mary Landrieu?

Give us your thoughts. What can/should happen now among Democrats and whose move is it?

She's not interested in helping any democrats.
