1. Saw it on Real Time last night.
The best part was where Bill Maher gave Nader a picture of OJ Simpson and told him it was to show how one's accomplishments can be wiped out by one stupid mistake.

3. They should have asked Ralph about stiffing the homeless
http://www.nbc10.com/news/3601217/detail.html

Nader, having no volunteers has had to hire people to collect signatures for him to get on the ballot. In Pennsylvania, he hired the homeless, but they've closed up shop in Philly before paying the homeless who've been collecting sigs.

5. More like an egomaniac...
The idea he overlooks the fact he could cause Bush&co to win is enough proof he is self serving.

10. Nader doesn't desrve that much pleading
He was loving the worship and attention. He's an egomaniacal ass hole.

His number 1 priority is getting George Bush elected.

19. George Bush is a means to an end for Ralph
Ralph is there to inflate his own ego and wallet, nothing more. It's just that he can probably make more money in an environment that is controlled by Republicans than in one that is controlled by Democrats.

14. Nadar guy trying to get voters...
Edited on Sun Aug-01-04 04:37 PM by marlakay
Hi. I was out registering voters with my 15-20 volunteers that showed up! I had 5 boxes filled with everything from buttons to bumper stickers to signs and of course voter reg forms. Today was a training session. Normally we only need 2or 3 to staff the Farmers Market I was at. By the time I ended I had 5 teams trained and going out to new spots!!! Anyway, while we were there a guy with a Nadar shirt was out trying to get signatures. I didn't see anyone come up to his table, my husband said people were booing him and told him to go away!! It was great...he left after just a few hours. We were there for 4 hours and hundreds of people came by. I ran out of all my supplies and had to go home for more! No one booed us but they honked as they drove by and gave us the thumbs up sign, rolled down windows and asked for stickers and buttons. It was a great day!!

We even had some republicans come by and tell us they were voting for Kerry...it was so great!

One of the vendors saw my husbands button and only charged him half price, not even knowing we were in charge! So my husband came back to the table and got him a button and he wore it the rest of the day.

We are moving people....we are movin!!!

15. That's great!
Where are you located?

I'm in rural Virginia and it's the same here. The ten year chairman of the local republican committee has resigned that position and is voting Kerry. We see more republicans who intend on voting Kerry every day.

Anyone who thinks the right is solid and unmoveable is wrong...wrong...WRONG!

16. I'm in Walnut Creek CA
even though we have a strong showing of democrats in our state, the repubs are here to and our town is only 39% democrat. A lot of rich people live here. Its not the religous vote in this area. But at the farmers market you get a lot of the type that care about being healthy.

But my brother and his wife are repubs and they just told me they are voting for Kerry too. She is one of the top managers for levi in SF. The reason...they said Bush is Stupid!! I think the intelligent people along with many others just can't stomach Bush!!

21. At the time I thought it was funny, but now I'm not so sure
The bended knee, pleading, etc. It just feeds Ralph's already-monstrous ego.

The picture of OJ was more on the point.
