3.  I recall seeing some posts about "buyers remorse"
Of course, I don't think this is what they meant.

4. Talk about buyers' remorse.
Californians who generally pride themselves at latching onto the "latest and greatest" first...were just a touch late to the Obama Bandwagon. That's ok.

5. That sounds about right
I think folks in CA are kind of regretting moving our primaries forward. I know a lot of people who voted for Clinton by default, because they knew her well, whereas they were not so familiar with Obama. And folk who didn't bother to vote because they assumed it was a foregone conclusion for Clinton. And now a lot of them are wishing they had voted otherwise.

Obama is partly responsible for this: his campaign also assumed Clinton's CA lead would be insurmountable and didn't campaign hard enough here. Of course there were many other states to be fought on Super Tuesday so I understand, but if the campaign had spent a bit more time in CA then he would have wrapped this up earlier.

Somehow I suspect Hillary won't be going around quoting that particular poll.

Our mail in & early-voting began Jan7...well before many of us even knew WHO Obama even was.. That was part of "Operation Line-Jump"

"Bank" early votes in CA & NY & NJ
(1/3 to 1/2 of all votes were cast EARLY)

jump MI & FL

take a close 2nd to Edwards in Iowa
(explain it away because he spent 4 years in Iowa working toward that one day)

win NH BIG

all the SDs pile on

sweep Super Tuesday

Game Over..

except.......

8. I have been calling the California superdelegates since March.
There are more than a few who are going to switch from Clinton to Obama and the state in general clearly has buyer's remorse.

I have been saying this since March.

Let's see what the MA and NY numbers look like.

9. Edwards dropped out during the CA primary

I had already cast my vote-by-mail ballot for Edwards the night before he dropped out of the race. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I was ecstatic that CA had moved our primary forward to a 'meaningful' time frame. Now - not so much. :(
