Thank you Senator Clinton for testing Senator Obama. Testing his strengths and weaknesses. Testing his electability. Testing his ability to talk about the issues. Testing him on some of the Republican talking points we'll see in the General Election when he's the nominee.
Luckily, he pulled through.
He leads in pledged delegates.
He leads in popular vote.
He's won twice as many states as you.
He's caught up to you in SuperDelegates.
Your campaign officials are privately saying it's all but over.
Senator Obama is all but the Democratic nominee.
Thanks for running a great, historic race against Senator Obama. I didn't fully agree with your strategy or some of the tactics you used, but you ran with tenacity and an incredible toughness. I look forward to your future involvment in Democratic politics, and am glad you'll go back to fighting for the kinds of change you talked about on the campaign trail in the United States Senate.
You, and Bill, are two of the best Democrats this party has!
Thank you, Hillary!!
Now onto the General Election. John McCain will be tough to beat. But Americans don't want another Bush term under his leadership, and he's got more weaknesses than it would appear. We need to hit him for being a hypocrite, for flip-flopping on so many occasions, for lying, and most of all for his Bush policies that have failed the country for eight years now. Barack Obama will bring his message of hope and change to the country, and talk about how we can get past the same old tired politics of the past to bring about real change in this country and in Washington D.C.
Our time is now...
Yes, We Can!!
