Honest question for Clinton supporters
I am hoping that this thread won't become a flame fest, but that's probably wishful thinking these days. I'm curious, though, if some of you either won't vote for Obama or might vote for him but hope he doesn't win because you want Hillary to get another chance in 2012?

I made the mistake of venturing over to the Hillary forum earlier, and I saw a bunch of posters who seemed to think that McCain would probably be a one-term president who was relatively moderate and harmless and then Clinton would get another chance in 2012, and that was a preferable outcome to Obama being elected president this year.

I'm not knocking you if you feel that way. I know that if the tables were turned, I would vote for Hillary and probably volunteer for her, but deep in my heart a part of me would hope she would lose so Obama would get another chance. So I'm curious if that's part of the reason some of you feel like you don't want to vote for Obama in the fall if he is the nominee.

Note: I know that some Clinton supporters here have already said that they will vote for Obama if he is the nominee, and I applaud you for that. For the ones that won't or don't know yet, I am curious if wanting Clinton to get another chance in 2012 has something to do with it.

1. That is a warped fantasy invented by, then perpetrated by, Obama supporters
It has no basis in reality.

2. I got the idea after reading Hillary Clinton forum
I don't know if those people are freeper trolls parading as Hillary supporters or genuine supporters...some of them scare the hell out of me. But I saw a few people over there say that McCain being president for 4 years and then Clinton getting another chance was better than Obama getting elected now.

5. Are you planning to vote for Obama if he is the nominee?
I saw some other Clinton supporters weigh in today...wasn't sure where you stood.

6. I don't have an account. And those people freak me out.
Are they really Democrats over there? They say that an Obama presidency scares them because he has ties to Muslims and other right wing crap that makes me wonder if they are freeper trolls.

7. Sure you would
I can see you now, working your little heart out for Hillary. Kool-aid is being served by the glass as always but a kool-aid enema is bound to set you right.

10. Do a search for my previous posts
I have said many times that I was committed to doing whatever it takes to get a Democrat elected. And since I work in the labor movement, I kind of have no choice but to work my heart out for whoever the nominee is even if I didn't choose to do so in my free time. And not to brag, but most people who know me have said that I have a pretty big heart.
