11. The GOP is going to make short work of slicing and dicing Obama.
His ties to Rezko, the criminal.

His support of Rev. Wright.

The list goes on and on and on. The GOP spin machine will be able to deal with Barack the same as they dealt with Kerry.

And before you accuse me, I'm not a Hillary supporter, either.

Barack's history in the Senate doesn't show that he's such a big proponent of change. What has he changed for his constituents? Are they appreciably better off because of his service to them? I think not.

Reality is what it is. You Obama supporters did exactly what the M$M media wanted you to do: you fell in love with the ideal that you would be a part of history. And you will, but it won't be in the way you think it's going to be.

Time will tell, but some of us saw through the smoke and mirrors from the beginning. We'll see how everyone feels come January 2009.

12. Do you think they wont"slice and dice" Hillary?
I really don't see his baggage being worse than Hillary's.

13. Of course they will.
It's all a part of their plan. And Americans are cooperating beautifully.

20. The time for that has long passed. Too late.
We had the chance to do something good this time around, but because most Americans are Sheeple, more interested in what Brittney Spears is doing, or who's winning American Idol, most have little time for things like rights, liberties, freedoms, corporate abuse, corruption, etc.

It makes no difference, now. It's a done deal. You can believe otherwise if you wish, but eventually you'll experience a :wtf: moment, just like you did with Bush.

15. Funny, when Hillary said he can't win, I don't think she was using your reasons as the basis
Remember, the GOP will attempt to slice and dice ANY democratic candidate. Anyone who thinks Hillary's negatives and skeletons are less vulnerable than Obama's is fooling themselves. They will have a field day on Mrs. Clinton. Her only advantage is the one she's trying to exploit right now; she's white and uneducated white people prefer her.

21. Of course the GOP will go after any Dem.
I'm not a Hillary supporter, but I do think she might be able to weather the storm better than Barack. After all, she's been investigated for years and nothing really turned up. What's new? What hasn't already been said?

I don't care for the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton monopoly, but when dealing with the sheer question of the GOP attack machine, I think Hillary stands a better chance, although I think you'll see McSane's numbers climb to ridiculous heights right about the time the Dem nominee is announced.

It's all been planned, they're just waiting for the right time to move to the next phase.

28. Great post. I give Obama far less of a chance that Kerry had.
Slim to none. He's never going to make it.

But at least he would have done respectably, gotten about 250 electoral votes and been the first African-American nominee of a major party.

Those are massive accomplishements and Obama will have much to be proud of.

Where was all this supposed feminist support for Carol Moseley-Braun? Or was she unelectable too? And for what valid reasons other than racism?

Unless McCain melts down, Obama is likely to lose key electoral states- and there'll be a lot of depressed people here come November 5th.
