Edwards' Campaign Manager, David Bonior to Endorse Obama

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/05/edwards-campaig.html

ABC News has learned that David Bonior, the campaign manager for the 2008 presidential race of Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, will endorse Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, today.

Bonior, a former Michigan congressman, was once the second highest ranking Democrat in the House, and is influential with labor unions.

Tuesday night's results were said to be key to Bonior's decision -- specifically the fact that Obama's lead over Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, appears insurmountable.

Bonior is also said to like Obama's general positive tone, as well as Obama's message of change and stance against taking money from federal lobbyists.

2. None, of these people at this point....
...deserve much respect. That goes for those just now climbing off the fence to support EITHER candidate.

It's like saying which team you are for during the last play of the 4th quarter.

4. They could end this thing tomorrow if they would endorse Obama today.
Enough of the fucking "pandering for dollars" from Hillary.
The people of West Virgina are broke, and yet Hillary is sending them e-mails urging them to keep her in the race?
That's bullshit - even for Hillary!

10. rawstory.com had headline of 30 delegates to Obama this am
but it didn't link to a story that matched it. So probably (as in previous cases like this) the headline is first and the story will link sometime this am. In any event my fingers are crossed.

7. Their slowness to endorse is the one thing that leads me to believe
that this is all being orchestrated. The GOP is thoroughly dumbfounded at this point.

8. These people
Have kept your candidate alive this long. The Clinton strategy going for the last 6 weeks wasn't new endorsements it was preventing defections from their own camp and urging people to wait on supporting Obama.

Time has run out.

9. In a game...
that one team lost the game earlier and refuses to leave the field until they get a couple of chances to re-play some plays that didn't work to well back at the beginning of the game and only realized they would need two touchdowns they scored while the other team was told it was a timeout break...at the end of the game.

15. Points scored in the 4th quarter STILL count
or are you arguing that the nomination is already sown up for Obama, so it's useless to endorse? Riddle me that!

Rock...hard place...rock...hard place...

Diane Fienstien said she needed to see the game plan. 8 superdelegates have switched from Hillary to Obama since superTues. 0 the other way.
