Hillary Clinton vs. Bob Dylan
"Only A Pawn In Their Game"

<...>

A South politician preaches to the poor white man
"You got more than blacks, don't complain
You're better than them, you been born with white skin" they explain
And the Negro's name
Is used it is plain
For the politician's gain
As he rises to fame
And the poor white remains
On the caboose of the train
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game.

The deputy sheriffs, the soldiers, the governors get paid
And the marshals and cops get the same
But the poor white man's used in the hands of them all like a tool
He's taught in his school
From the start by the rule
That the laws are with him
To protect his white skin
To keep up his hate
So he never thinks straight
'Bout the shape that he's in
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game.

<...>

If you don't see the connection, you can still just enjoy the music...

3. you're a dog
Dylan would chop you up for this

you're the type of ass he has railed about his entire career

a user of someones work, and then distorts it

when were you born?

6. Thank you
1) I am not sooo sure about this.
2) Really?!
3) Didn't use his work and what distortion? Just pointed out some context for this song.
4) What does that have to do with anything?

7. Bob Dylan got out of his "protest" phase over 40 years ago
and hasn't looked back since.

And he hasn't played this particular song since September 18, 1964. In fact, he has repeatedly stated that he used the protest movement only as a stepping stone for his career.

In addition, using Bob Dylan for political points shows an ignorance for what his art is about. He transcends and towers above politics.

9. Sure, from both sides of the spectrum
Remember Neighborhood Bully?

The one thing they all have in common is that they are none of his best.
