Will there be a "Dream Ticket?"
I don't think so and I hope there is not.

Personally, I think a Dream Ticket would be no where near as unbeatable as people think. To me, it might actually be one of the weaker tickets.

McCain would win if he goes up against an Obama-Hillary ticket.

2. I think Hiullary Clinton herself ended any possibility of that
when she gave her press conference today.

5. What would amount to a dual 'minority' ticket would be a bad idea
In Presidential politics, a woman is as much a minority candidate as a black man.

Obama needs a hard as nails white guy to be his VP choice so Obama doesnt need to be the one with the rough edges in responding to attacks.

...and to put the racists at ease somewhat.

Someone who can go head to head on military matters with McSame.

Webb for one, but Im sure there are others.

(I dont really think Clark would be rough enough, he's more of an intellectual type despite his military experience.)

6. Only in the DLC's wet dreams...
Harold Ford was a bit arrogant and demanding in his assertions on the issue last night.

9. That's not my idea of a dream ticket. Here are better options:
Edited on Wed May-07-08 01:34 PM by Liberty Belle
Obama - Edwards
Obama - Gore
Obama - Dean

A better spot for Hilary would be a supreme court appointment made by President Obama. :-)

13. I doubt Hillary would accept VP... But she could still be powerful if she plays her cards right
She has an opportunity now to call for an end to division, while staying in the race. She will probably end up less than 100 pledged delegates shy of Obama, but many superdelegates shy. Nowhere near enough to win, but enough to put herself in a much respected and powerful position, if she chooses to go that route.

than any other ticket.
