Not a Hillary supporter, but this is how some media outlets are reporting it today.

1. Who's reporting it as such? You're pointing to a fairly dry AP report, saying
Hillary is "struggling to halt her rival's march into history."

2. Not the ones I've been watching ... the media is turning on her
They're seeing her like the crazy aunt in the attic who's delusional ...
As even Mike Barnicle said this morning, "This is getting silly. To any
normal person -- other than the Clintons -- her argument is weak" (or words
to that effect).

She has become Mike Huckabee ...

7. frankly I have more respect for Huckabee
HC is a fool and needs to wake the f_ up and drop out. I don't give two hoots in hell about all the money she "loaned herself".

At least Huckabee has been decent and knew when to call it quits!

:kick:

3. McCain's the one who cannot close the deal
<http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/state/#NC>

He is running basically unopposed and he is still losing nearly 1 in 3 republicans!!!!

15. 3% of NC Republicans voted for Alan Keyes in the NC Republican Primary
Let me repeat that. 3% of NC Republicans voted for Alan Keyes in the Republican primary. That tells you about all you need to know about what they think of John McCain.

4. "Can't close the deal"?
The deal is closed and Hillary just can't deal with it. He trounced her yesterday. She lost ground in what was already an all but hopeless cause. It's not Obama's job to make her face reality. If she wants to continue pretending she can win and if people want to continue to send her their money, that's their business.

5. Right, a split: a 14-point win by Obama, a 2-percent squeeker by HRC.
And even an even split would not have done her any good.

10. And never mind the fact that NC is almost twice as big either...
Oh, but IN was the "tie breaker" :wtf:

8. If closing the deal means HRC drops out, only HRC can close the deal
That's just basic logic.

He has closed the deal in terms of winning elections, delegates, money.
