3. What a tard...
The longer she keeps this idiocy up, the more certain that it is that she has no prayer at winning her Senate seat again in 2012.

6. As long as she doesn't take an axe to Obama, I can live with it...
These next few days and weeks are going to be brutal on her campaign.

I just pray they aren't planning some secret attack on Obama.

10. Since it's been discounted by a majority of economists,
and since it didn't seem to do the trick in NC or IN, she should just drop it.

12. The text of her bill is finally available and a couple of interesting things:
Its a nearly complete cut and paste job. The first half is, for all intents and purposes, identical to McCain's fuel tax holiday bill that was introduced in mid April. The second half is cribbed virtually word for word from a windfall profits tax bill introduced by Chuck Schumer in mid-March -- a bill that HRC, by the way, didn't sign onto as a co-sponsor.

The principal difference that I see is that Schumer's bill called for a tax of 25 percent on excess profit over the average from 2003-2007 period and HRC's calls for a tax of 50 percent on excess profit above the average from the 2000-2004 period.

WHile that certainly makes HRC's bill seem tougher, it also makes it even less likely to pass or be signed into law than Schumer's approach.

16. If she's really serious about it, why not make it PERMANENT???
or why not offer what Colbert did.. FREE GAS FOR EVERYONE!!!! Neither of these things will ever happen, but she thinks people are stupid enough to vote for her if she promises them, what, about $30?

20. Actually that is fine with me. It's at least a real policy debate and if the returns from NC and IN
are any indication I think Obama helped himself debating this issue with her.

22. Worst Clinton mistake: Failure to listen to honest feedback and adjust.
When everyone told her the tone of her campaign was getting too ugly, she just turned the volume up.

When everyone told her the gas tax holiday was a stupid idea and that the people weren't buying it, she just turned the volume up.

Tactics that were clearly failing were continued because they have too much PRIDE to be able to admit they were wrong - even about the little things.

She and her supporters' WORST MISTAKE was writing off ANY criticism as "kool-aid" talk. I don't understand why they can't listen to feedback and adjust their tactics. Had she done that, I think she may have been able to beat him. But she's thick headed and prideful... and it shows.

She assumed that was a winning argument and after her "game changing" night she was going to carry on with this awesome strategy that "changed her game."

Hillary: "Stay on message."
Hillary supporter: "We're too close!"
Hillary: "Stay on message!"
Hillary supporter: "Loosen up!"

(Hillary supporter explodes)

Hillary: "Clinton to Hillary 44.com, lost NC, nearly lost IN..."
Hillary 44.com: "I copy, Hillary."
Hillary: "Obama came from... behind!"

(Hillary's campaign crashes and explodes)
