All of you Obama/Hillary ticket people......you forget Bill Clinton.....
I love a Obama/Hillary ticket......but.....

Does anyone, even the biggest Clinton fan in the world think that Bill Clinton will keep his mouth shut about Obama during his time as president? No one can control Bill Clinton.

Bill will be saying shit like "If Hillary was president...."

Or Bill will be saying "I would not have handled it that way....."

He will be on meet the press and be undermining Obama because he is mad about this primary.

I don't trust Bill Clinton at all.

He will not keep his mouth shut.

1. oh yea, he'll shut up
because he is the penultimate politician. He'll shut up because his wife will be VP. Plus, ya never know, Obama might just put him in a cabinet position.
I could see that happening. He left office with a 6 billion dollar surplus.
How about if he's Secretary of the Treasury?

25. Oh, yeah, and the party unity begins now
It may be a day, or week, or month before we're officially down to ONE candidate. But today the news and the posts seem to echo the inevitibility of an Obama nomination. There'll be some gloating, some accusing, but this is just picking at the scab of a healing wound ... the main theme being "healing".

I think there are better choices for veep than Clinton, but that's a minor issue. I'll vote for Obama/Clinton, if it comes to that.

34. I agree with you on all counts. Healing wounds can start on DU
on both sides. We are one party against the most corrupt regime this country has ever seen. The war, the economy, the environment is being trashed as I type. My God, I can hardly wait until November when Democrats win the presidency, take back veto proof majority in both houses.

How sweet the thought!!!

6. Not funny, & just as stupid as Pat Robertson
with his lunatic allegations about the Clintons.

Do you want to alienate ALL the Clinton supporters Obama needs to win?

Then keep posting garbage like this.

8. So, it'll be the fault of a few people on a message board
if Obama doesn't win?

And if Obama doesn't kiss Hillary's ass and ask her to be his VP, then none of the Hillary supporters will vote for him? I already know for a fact that's not true.

23. I'll vote for him but alot of Hispanics, blue collar workers, seniors might not
the math speaks to the issue of Hillary's demographics. If she's VP, then we get the the huge number former Republicans who have switched parties. We get the Hispanics, the Jewish vote, seniors, single moms, and alot of plain old Democrats who have always liked the Clintons because those years were good years for alot of us.

We've got to get over the divisions, stop calling names, unite to win in November. How many times do I have to say this?

Let's be smarter than the Republicans for a change huh!!!

30. Is Hillary the only person who can get Hispanics,
the Jewish vote (which Obama is increasing in, btw), senior, etc?

I doubt it.

And just as a by the way, I don't see this huge Hispanic support she supposedly has. I live in Texas.

31. Hispanics were key in Clinton's win in Texas, Jewish vote in Penn.
according to the figures from this news item from then:

Hispanic vote key in Hillary Clinton's Texas victory
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Wednesday, March 5th 2008, 11:33 AM

If Hillary Clinton ends up clinching the Democratic presidential nomination, she may have to thank Hispanic Texans.

Hispanics voted in force in Texas, making up a third of voters — up from the quarter they comprised in the state's Democratic primary in 2004.

The New York senator won 67 percent of the votes of Hispanics in Texas, one of her best showings yet with them. They were negligible in Ohio, where she also won the primaries.

Clinton had intensely courted the Latino vote in Texas in the previous weeks, and was expected to fare better than Obama.

However, the strength of her lead among Hispanic voters was surprising.

"I think expected to cut into her Latino vote a little bit more than that," said Jerry Polinard, a political science professor at University of Texas-Pan American in the Rio Grande Valley.

Clinton won Penn. in part because of the Jewish vote which was for 62% to Obama's 38%. I think he's been courting the Jewish vote more now so he'll probably do ok with them (I hope) at this point in time. Interesting article about Penn. here from the "Texas Jewish Post" website.

Geez, what a long addy eh? I have to say that I don't quite agree with Clinton on her pro Israel ideas which is one of the reasons I'll have no problem voting for Obama in November.

Another thread claimed Hillary should be his VP so that she and Bill can "show him the ropes," as if Obama's a tourist from Mars or some bullshit.

I have to wonder if such 'helpful suggestions' were made when Bill was the candidate. *sigh*

11. Bill did not look good last night, I've never seen his color change that much
from a beet red back to a pink. I worry about his health.

No slam on Bill, but this was taken by AP in North Carolina ( untouched )
I hardly recognize him and he doesn't look healthy in this photo either

37. You can't judge anyone by one still frame.

If you watch a video clip you can easily find many frames that can make a beautiful/handsome person look absolutely hideous. So if a photo is taken without a pose you can easily capture a bad look/moment.

32. He hasn't done that to George Bush, I doubt he would to Obama when he is President
This will likely be the case whether she is VP or not. It seems to be his view that you shouldn't.

He will likely criticize the campaign - as he did Gore's, Kerry's and his wife's - in the case of the first two I thought it was intentional - I don't think it is now.
