Also keep in mind when they closed out March, that they said it didn't include the money from the concert - was that 1.5M? Toss that in, Hmmm.

Edited on Wed May-07-08 09:38 AM by MonkeyFunk
she loaned the money to her campaign a week before the PA primary. The $10 million day was the day after the PA primary.

21. I know that the $10 million day
was NOT the day she loaned the campaign money.

The fact that you guys just automatically believe this OP without any corroboration shows how little regard you guys have for the truth.

28. I am not saying that she loaned the money after PA

I am saying that Wolfson was lying out his ass.

Now please remember in defending the "$10 million dollar day" you are not defending Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton they never spoke of it or confirmed it. Just Wolfson and McAuliffe talking out of their ass. On May 21st it is going to be revealed in black and white.

23. If the Clintons lied
one one thousandth as much as Obama supporters here do, your heads would explode.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24501501/

That link shows the loan was made prior to the $10 million day. The OP is a lie, and you idiots jump on it as the truth because it's anti-clinton.

40. Hillary destroyed her own credibility
and that's one of the biggest differences between her and Obama. When people heard that Obama made some 'bitter' comments, everybody wanted to listen to the audiotape to hear for themselves. When Hillary dissed moveon.org, people may have listened to the video, but they just assumed she disrespected them even before hearing it. When you don't have credibility, people will believe anything said against you. The Republicans know this and that is part of the reason of why Hillary is unelectable.

27. That person is calling the OP a lie and that your link proves it is. To be fair:
Your link shows that Clinton DID lend herself 6.4 million as the OP states.

However, it doesn't say when (it just says earlier in the month) and it doesn't say if it was part of the $10 million raised online. The article does say that she raised the $10 million online, but doesn't connect the $6.4 million to that.

I think we'll really only know the truth when the FEC report comes out.

29. The timing of that loan is very close to the day after the primary
Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson also told reporters Wednesday that the senator had lent her campaign another $6.4 million between mid-April and May 5. Her campaign reported raising $10 million online after her victory April 22 in Pennsylvania, but Obama has outspent Clinton in primary after primary, and has shown little difficulty raising large sums of money. He spent more than $7 million on advertising head of Tuesday's primaries in North Carolina and Indiana to her nearly $4 million.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-05-07-clinton-funds_N.htm?csp=34

I would be shocked if they admitted to this until the FEC report comes out.

31. I understand that. But it still doesn't confirm what the OP is concluding.
I'm not saying OP is right or MonkeyFunk is right. They are both jumping to conclusions. We need cooler heads to prevail at this point.

30. In two weeks we will know the truth
But, knowing what has been said and done in the past
even TV pundits are suggesting that part of the loans went into the $10 million
In two weeks it will be known.

Anyway, the loan, will not help garter new support and confidence to her campaign.

36. CNN has those numbers up as well
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/05/07/report-clinton-loans-herself-64-million/

According to those dates, her loans would have nothing to do with her campaign's claims to have raised $10M immediately after the April 22 primary.
