BUNCHES OF SUPERS

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

1. No it won't - at least not in Hillary World
You see, Superdelegates aren't legally bound by their declarations. Hillary knows this, and will fight all the way to the convention to try and convince them to change their mind.

3. And what does she use as leverage?
Edited on Wed May-07-08 08:29 AM by rocknation
Her pledged delegate lead? Her primary/caucus win lead? Her popular vote lead? Her campaign funds lead? If "Gorgeous George" is right, she may not have the superdelegate lead by the end of this week, never mind by the May 31 DNC meeting.

17. I think she will have to begin using Uri Geller techniques on the SuperD's
There's just no other way she can bend them her direction at this stage.

19. Her "I MIGHT win the popular vote" and "I won PA and OH"
Edited on Wed May-07-08 09:22 AM by PseudoIntellect
and the "Obama doesn't want to count 10% of the country (FL/MI)" memes.

Maybe those will have exhausted by now.

21. She won't have won the popular vote by the May 31 DNC meeting
And why should ANYBODY counts the votes in elections that were deemed invalid beforehand? I believe Obama advocated a 50/50 spit a long time ago.

24. Lol. "Let's count the unconstitutional elections."
Edited on Thu May-08-08 01:27 AM by PseudoIntellect
Funny how she flip-flopped on that, saying "it's clear these elections aren't going to count for anything" and the "it won't make a difference whether or not I'm on the ballot."

50/50 split might be the best case scenario, unless someone unbelievably wealthy donated enough to fund new elections.

5. I think that is the real story. Obama can continue to raise tons of
cash and Hillary is on empty.

6. So with the $10 mil she's allegedly raised since the PA primary
and the $5 mil she loaned herself earlier, she's only $1 mil in the hole.

7. Show me the supers says this exhausted Indiana Obama supporter...
We worked so, so hard. It feels this morning, in Indiana, as if no one won. I know we made a very big contribution to bringing this to an end so I'd love to see these supers today.

9. Thanks to everyone's hard work in IN
Hillary's "win" was basically a wash. Feel very proud of your efforts as you helped to overcome 2 weeks of Pastorbation, and Operation Chaos!

11. Thanks for your hard work! And look at the results!
You should be proud of yourself and all you brought to the campaign and election.

What was the final point spread, after all was said and done? When I went to bet in the wee hours of the morning, Clinton was up by 2% -- Did that change at all?

Thanks! :hi:

20. But Obama DID win! Because you helped him get at least 40% of the vote
Edited on Wed May-07-08 09:37 AM by rocknation
you stopped Hillary from getting the 69% of the vote that she needed to remain mathematically viable. And that goes double for the Obama people in PA: I hope you don't feel your efforts were wasted, because your getting Obama to his "magic number" of 45% of the vote was the reason why he didn't need more than 40% of IN as long as he won NC!

You weren't defeated--not by a long shot. Thanks to your "victories," Hillary will now have to win ALL SIX of the remaining contests with 86% of the vote to catch Obama!
