Do the right thing, Barack
Keep on campaigning like the better Democrat you are. Make the Clintons look like the fools they are. Every day that goes by Hillary is more of a failure. And you are more of a winner.

The DLC needs to GO DOWN. You are doing your party and the country a tremendous favor.

First the DLC/Clinton monarchy, then McCain.

1. I agree.,
He has stayed strong in this race when the Clintons thought it was going to be easy.

2. he has amazed me with his ability to keep his eye on his principles
He has failed to follow politics as usual when the expedient candidate would have.

I didn't start backing Obama until after John Edwards got out, and by then it was a two person race. That made it easy to get behind him, since I have always liked him, but preferred Edwards all last year and into this one. Suddenly John was stopping, and backing Obama became an easy choice, given Hillary's record on war, munitions, the constitution, and special interests, among other things.

It was a pleasant surprise to find out how really organized and disciplined his huge network was. I'm really impressed with what these kids have done for Obama. They did it old school, with new school technology. They ran laps around Team Hillary, everywhere.

4. Me too
I was a Kucinich supporter, then Edwards. I didn't pay much attention to Obama until January. Honestly I didn't think he had a chance. But three months later I am very impressed with his tenacity, his professionalism and his campaign. He is one of the best presidential candidates we have ever had. And he is playing Hillary well.

7. I am encouraged by his steadiness, and his comfortable relationship with Michelle
Edited on Wed May-07-08 09:37 AM by TexasObserver
He is steady, and he is not easily moved off his position. He doesn't get excited. He exudes calm, and he favors reason and pause over impulsive bragging. This guy has a chance to be more than we've seen in the job in a long, long time.

His interaction with Michelle is the most comfortable and easy to watch political marriage I've ever seen. Most of the time, the wife has that look that Cindy McCain has - one part Barbie doll, one part conjoined twin to the hubby. She seems like someone you'd always love to have drop by and bring some sunshine to your day.
