12 noon... its time for Hillary Rodham Clinton to decide
Will Hillary still retain her importance and say-so in the coming democratic decade, or will she instead cement the image of a batshit crazy Captain of the titanic screaming full speed ahead into the iceberg??

I wait and wonder for her next press conference at 12 noon for the answer.

1. I think she could do a lot of Unity building if she stays 2 more weeks.
Once she drops, she's forgotten. She needs to stay in to promote unity from the candidacy platform.

2. We'll have to wait and see.
If she gives a strictly positive message we'll know what's going on. However, if she starts going negative again the press will savage her. We'll see.

5. If she goes negative, the superdelegates will have to step in,
at this point.

16. Yup you are right.
I really hope it is positive.

The historic democratic landslide coming in the GE could start with Hillary's presser today.

Lets hope for the best.

3. nope...because she is going to win by 35% in KY and WV...
that is only going to cripple our nominee... (which I think is her plan)

4. Imagine the effect if Hillary won KY and WV
and she wasn't even running.

10. I don't see that big of a deal
It gets played for a week on two states Obama won't win in the GE.

15. Thats the only reason for her to continue
Obama is the nominee, like it or not. If Hillary continues she helps no one but McCain and the republican party.

Jeez if she would face reality and get behind the candidate she could do a world of good and start repairing some fences.

She could still be a major power in the party. Why would she choose to be a pariah instead??

11. If that's the tone she's going to use, she sure wasn't starting it last night
The beginning of her speech was like nails on a chalkboard to me. She'll do the same thing after she wins WV and KY, even though her own campaign has discounted Obama's wins in red states and smaller states.

6. Financial issues
may result in her not being able to do the honorable thing today.

7. I wouldn't expect her to drop out today
She could and should start a move for party unity by campaigning against McCain. It would be the right thing to do and would heal a lot of wounds and stifle some of the anger directed towards her. Let's wait and see.

8. I'm on the side of tears at noon

She'll bring out Chelsea and Bill and she'll say they are asking her to "go on" and "let's all Send Some Money to her Campaign."

They havre got to raise money first.

13. I understand and agree
It is yet another reason why she can't drop out today and leave all her creditors and paid staff hanging and her loan(s) unpaid. I would expect that her campaign is now talking to Obama and the DNC to see if they can work that out somehow as part of a deal of some kind.

9. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that she'll be
in the race until May 20th. However, I think the super delegates will start breaking for Obama now. Come the 20th, WV will be over and Kentucky and Oregon will vote. She will have two more wins, despite losing Oregon. Hopefully the just enough super delegates break that the results from that night puts him over.

12. Shes not dropping out. Its all about destroying Obama now
"This candidacy and this campaign continues on," Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson said Wednesday on CNN.

14. We really don't know that yet
A lot will depend on the tone she takes today. If she is positive and does not go on the attack against Obama it may well be that she is just treading water until she gets her finance problems in order.

17. If she needs to shore up finances, OK I guess but the
bitter attacks against Obama need to stop. Concentrate on McCain and raise some money to pay off campaign debt.

The pandering to racists and Operation Chaos voters needs to stop immediately from Hillary and her surrogates.
