We have had contested primaries before, and survived.

We're not all neophytes, either. In fact, in my town, all the most experienced political types supported Obama.

The funny thing is that, from fairly early on, Clinton ran hard right, which is not how you win a democratic primary. I'm not used to seeing our nominee attacked from the left.
