Wow Tweety just called out Operation Chaos voters
I'm impressed. He said that they should carry the burden of corrupting the voting system to their graves (paraphrasing). He's so cute when he's feeling Democratic.

8. a would be Operation Chaos voter came to my polling place...
I was getting my ballot when some guy came in, older about 60 white working class,
(Hillary's base?) and asked the poll workers if he could change parties today.

Ha Ha Ha.

NO - in North Carolina if you want to be a party switcher you have to do it 25 days ahead
of the primary.

Hahahahahahahaha.

Perhaps a few did it, but not many. At least many of our repugs are better than that.

I also got some calls from other republicans wanting to know if they could vote in the
Dem today.

15. Because it is called strategic voting
it is not illegal, except in one state...

you may have a problem with is on a morals issue, but politics is a form of warfare

16. I heard that . . . .
And actually I thought it was a little over-the-top. If the roles were reversed, I don't think anyone here (including me) would have a problem with Democrats messing with a Republican primary. The rules are the rules, and if the rules let you sabotage the election by voting for the enemy's weaker candidate, then that's what you're allowed to do.

But that said, I think the state parties and lawmakers should take a hard look at whether they really want to have blanket or open primaries in the future.
