The Dems have always had the best orators, best vision, best ideas, smartest
candidates. Why have we always lost the Presidency with them except in the case of Bill Clinton?

1. Remember 9/11 and being 'terrorized'? It had nothing to do with Dems. nt

3. yah, after watching the speeches tonight
Edited on Tue May-06-08 10:38 PM by habitual
my gf commented on the incredible stark difference between their speeches and ANY speech that she has ever seen of Bush's. It's like night and day.

It really is incredible when you compare them, Bush struggles to get two words out without mangling them and these two can speak with passion and purpose. It really makes me think that Bush always has an ear piece in and is just repeating what he hears without any passion or purpose other than parroting what cheney is whispering to him.

Edit to add: why we lost the presidencies: simple, they use peoples fears against them to manipulate them.

4. Because they didn't know how to run against Republicans
or respond to their dirty tricks. They were afraid to fight.

Clinton is a great campaigner who doesn't give up. That's how you win.
