Is this what's really happened? I've been trying to follow the threads here in GD-P, but it's mostly hooting and poo-flinging.

This 10pm local news broadcast is the first "hard" news I've gotten about the Indiana and North Carolina primaries since 7pm.

Reading some of the threads here, I was getting all hopefull that she was finally going to concede -- but that's not what's really going to happen, is it.

We're just not gonna get off that easy.

I'll say one thing, though, this just keeps getting more entertaining...

No surprise there. Her speech was okay. She did claim an Indiana victory a little early, but on the other hand she vowed to work for the Dem nominee. CNN online normally has video feeds of the post-primary speeches, so check it out in the future. The Clinton surrogates speaking to the crowd before Hillary sounded very arrogant and condescending, but that part wasn't played on national TV.

They said that Obama had been declared the winner in NC, and that the Indiana count wasn't final, but that Clinton was ahead so far. And then the anchor person said Clinton "has vowed to fight on."

I'm looking for facts, not editorial comments.

He had a big win in NC. Indiana is still too close to call - the areas out are mainly Lake county (Gary area) and teh counties with Iu and Purdue. But, he did not need to win both. She couldn't loss both. (Additionally the superdelegates know that Rush Limbaugh likely did get some lift for HRC.) This even as it stands is a huge day for Obama. After over a month of the Clintons, a big machine, throwing all they had at Obama - he is not just standing but winning.

Bill looked like hell. They have in reality lost - there is no way she can sell the SD.
