Once again, Hillary, Florida and Michigan BROKE THE FREAKIN' RULES
Are we to reward our fellow Democrats for bad behavior? My heart goes out to FL and MI Democrats, but the bigwigs in charge of their state machines broke the DNC rules. And it looks like Hillary only stands to gain from their bad behavior.

6. What the hell are you talking about?
The decision to take away all the delegates was made WAY before the first primary even happened.

Are you high? Have you been drinking?

10. Another bunch of noise masquerading as an argument
1) The rules state that that 50% reduction is the MINIMUM punishment, but allow for stronger sanctions if deemed appropriate.

2) Dean didn't make the decision, the DNC rules committee did.

18. Howard Dean does not have the power...
to make up rules, or apply penalties. The Democratic Party votes on the rules, and the Democratic Party votes on the sanctions. Why try and make it something that it's not?

2. A Republican Governor is the one who made the decision for Florida.
Should Florida Democrats lose their vote because of a decision on the part of a Republican governor?

3. The Florida Democrats should have stood up to their governor...
They knew what would happen if they went along with the Guv, and they did it anyway. We don't need Democratic party bosses who bend over so far backwards that they lose any semblance of a spine.

5. Wrong...
It was NOT the Republican governor. The State Congress is majority Republican, but the Democrats went along with them happy as clams. The no votes to move up the primaries were... well...1. 1 person voted no and there were a HELL of a lot more Democrats in the State Congress than that.

This was done to us with the full support and urging of the Florida Democratic Party.

Florida delegates should NOT be seated. We broke the rules and, even when the DNC offered to give us 30 days to resolve it, the Florida Democratic Party said no.

While I may have been writing letters at the time and trying to convince my state senator and state representative to vote no on this, I still know that my party, the Democrats in Florida and the Florida Democratic Party, sold me up the river. And the primary was not valid.

Don't fall for the bullshit the Florida Democratic Party is putting out. Don't be part of the problem.

7. I feel for you...
...and especially after what happened in 2000, this should have been the year for Florida Democrats to come back swinging. It wasn't supposed to be like this.

9. No shit!!
And the worst part is that I haven't found a way to get Karen Thurman out of her position as the chairwoman. All the Democrats that voted for this bullshit are the ones that voted for her.

I'm seriously considering moving out of this state.. well, if the guy from North Lauderdale doesn't get his way and we become our own state in South Florida! LOL :toast:

8. You keep posting that, knowing it's a lie
Why do that? Why not make an honest case for what you believe?

You should be ashamed of yourself. I can see that you aren't, but you should be.

22. Vote was unanimous, and Florida Dems opposed a do-over
So Hillary's natl campaign co chair from Florida will whine and complain
and gloss over the fact that SHE opposed a do-over.

23. The Florida party bosses cut their own throats...
You know, when a person attempts suicide, the paramedics and the ER do everything they can to save the guy, but sometimes the damage is just too extensive.

11. States don't break rules, they set election dates. MI and FL deserved new elections, but Obama
blocked them.

19. If that's the case, I'd support a re-vote for both states...
Let Clinton and Obama face each other on a level playing field and a brand new ballot. But I'm thinking there's no way in Hell or Howland Island that's gonna happen now.

21. The National DNC offered to pay for a re-vote
or a caucus. The Florida Democratic Party said no. It's not going to happen, so, as a Florida citizen, I say they should not count.

Yes, she signed on to the Four State Pledge and is on tape saying Michigan would not count.
