The idiocy of the Indiana voting law...
I found this little tidbit in a story on the Indiana election

About a dozen nuns in their 80s and 90s at St. Mary's Convent in South Bend were denied ballots — by a fellow sister — because they lacked the necessary identification.

So the person at the polling place knew the voters personally and had to turn them away.
Foolishness.

2. Clinton supporters naturally support laws that inhibit voting by poor folks and black folks.

5. Yah - in fact it did. That's not the *goal* of such laws tho. That's why it's kinda funny.

3. It's infuriating when "rules" override commonsense.

12. This could be the test case that makes the Supreme Court revisit the issue
The Court left the door open to ruling again if evidence was produced of harm done to a real voter.

13. That's a valid point
As badly as I feel for people who got turned away...especially the 90 year old people. Something good may come from it.
