2. Whoah.
Good night for more than one Chicago team, then. The White Sox and Team Obama.

3. Yeah but has Konerko lifted his bat off his shoulders.

This defines my Chicago experience.

A good day for Chicago indeed.

4. A good day in Chicago
is when the Sox win and the Cubs lose. That is all.

I'm a transplant who grew up on WGN. I enjoy the rivalry. A good day is taking in a day game at U.S. Cellular and a night game at Wrigley. The only thing better would be stumbling home drunk to Obama's acceptance speech at the end of that bender.

Too bad I can't afford to do something like that.

The Sox needed a no-hitter like Clinton needed a blow-out in Indiana.

She is sounding like a drunken frat boy at the Cubby Bear right now in her speech "This year, man. They're gonna do it. Fuck the goat."

7. Sounds like the blowup dolls in the locker room
(complete with strategically placed bats) worked.

10. Damn Joe Mauer...
Gavin Floyd went 8 1/3...the second time he's gone late with a no-no this year. More important...ended a 6 game losing streak.

Add that to the great showing for Senator Obama tonight and looks like it's been a pretty good night.
