The nominee will only have two months to prepare for the general election. The convention ends on August 28th and the general election is on November 4. Anyone who wants this to go to the convention is crazy. No candidate can unify the party and launch a national wide campaign for president in eight weeks. And what the heck would Clinton and Obama do over the summer if no one drops out with no races left?
