Comparing the campaigns.....of the two Clintons: Hillary is no Bill Clinton!

Just thought we'd have an interesting discussion with all the folks here who remember well 1992 and 1996, and how well Bill Clinton managed to overthrow an incumbent President who was out of touch, and how well he came back in 1996, after Newt's "contract with America" and losses of lots of Dem seats to Republicans in 1994 mid-terms. Bill was a master of pulling out a victory from the jaws of the Republicans.

Hillary? Not so much! She ran a 2000 campaign while still First Lady, had universal name recognition, and the sympathy of every voter in New York state for putting up with the likes of Bill's oval office shenanigans. She worked hard as a freshman Senator, and won good reviews for her hard work, (except for that IWR thingy, which she still has trouble explaining). She won a virtually uncontested contest for re-election to the Senate in 2006, and then, almost immediately, (well, within a year), decided being a mere Senator from one of the largest states in the nation was beneath her ultimate abilities. So, with all her family, friends, connections, money saved from Senate campaigns, and support of a large number of women who wanted to see a woman in the Oval Office, she began her Presidential campaign. And it's been all downhill from there!

I guess that's what she's learned to do while in DC as a Senator!

3. Wasn't it just yesterday or maybe the day before

that Bill was a racist, adulterer who never did anything good for the economy? Now he is a "master of victory". My irony meter just blew past the 200% scale.

4. Not everyone thinks Bill was a total dumbass until he started

Race-baiting, lying to and getting mad at the media during his wife's campaign for the White House. Please try to keep things in chronological order.

Bill wasn't a bad campaigner for himself, now he's just plain a liability to Hillary and to the Democratic party.

5. Would LOVE to see some Hillary supporters actually tackle this issue of

Hillary's poor campaigning, pandering, and lies. Why she is losing it, what's right and wrong about her campaign, but usually all we hear around here from Clinton supporters is how terrible Obama is....for one silly reason or another.
