Arizona's Mary Kim Titla wants to be the first Native American

woman to become a member of Congress.

Congressional District 1 has one of the largest American Indian populations in the country.

Titla, a Democrat and former TV anchor person vying for Rick Renzi's seat in the House, is getting national endorsements.

15. I don't know if she's made a definitive statement on it or not, but that's what I keep hearing
No way in hell she'll make it through the primary, if true. My money's on Kirkpatrick to take the whole thing. Titla's impressive, but Ann has paid her dues and is a very formidable politician. Ann grew up on a Navajo reservation and speaks the language. She's also a popular State Rep.
