HRC supports the use of nuclear weapons...HRC supporters take a look at this and tell me
you still continue to support her! Obliterate Iran? Good Idea?

http://faculty.ucmerced.edu/smalloy/atomic_tragedy/photos.html

The Robert L. Capp collection at the Hoover Institution Archives contains ten never-before-published photographs illustrating the immediate aftermath of the Hiroshima bombing. These photographs, taken by an unknown Japanese photographer, were found in 1945 among rolls of undeveloped film in a cave outside Hiroshima by U.S. serviceman Robert L. Capp, who was attached to the occupation forces. Unlike most photos of the Hiroshima bombing, these dramatically convey the human as well as material destruction unleashed by the atomic bomb. Mr. Capp donated them to the Hoover Archives in 1998 with the provision that they not be reproduced until 2008. Three of these photographs are reproduced in Atomic Tragedy with the permission of the Capp family. The entire set is available below. Please contact Sean L. Malloy (smalloy@ucmerced.edu) if you have any information that might help identify the original photographer.

1. Please explain to me how Obama's position
that if Iran attacks Israel, we will retaliate and all options will be on the table, is any different. All options=nuclear weapons=obliteration.

Different words, same outcome.

Neither is a Peace candidate.

4. Their are only TWO US imperialists this election cycle. I'll let you guess who those people are...
you may want to read Obama's platform...
Jesus the blind ignorance of clinton supporters never ceases to amaze me.

6. First of all, I do not like being called blindly ignorant.
Second, I do not like people making assumptions about who/what I support. That's why my sig line, which you can't see right now, states clearly who I support.
Third, I have read the platforms of both candidates. Neither is a Peace candidate. Neither has a rapid and definitive plan to get us out of Iraq. Neither has disavowed the use of nuclear weapons.

5. Philadelphia ABC Primary debates
OBAMA: Now, my belief is that they should also know that I will take no options off the table when it comes to preventing them from using nuclear weapons or obtaining nuclear weapons, and that would include any threats directed at Israel or any of our allies in the region.

MR. STEPHANOPOULOS: So you would extend our deterrent to Israel?

SENATOR OBAMA: As I've said before, I think it is very important that Iran understands that an attack on Israel is an attack on our strongest ally in the region, one that we -- one whose security we consider paramount, and that -- that would be an act of aggression that we -- that I would -- that I would consider an attack that is unacceptable, and the United States would take appropriate action.

12. Obama supports the use of nuclear weapons. I assume you've been to his website
Perhaps I assume too much. If you've not seen his stance, then clearly it would do you good to go looking for it. You just might learn a thing or two.

7. He's asked a question and states that IF it happens he would
Retaliate.

She offers it up on her own. This indicates to those who don't question her statements that Iran is nuke ready and about to lob things at Israel. Thus it is inflammatory.

(IN reality Iran is YEARS from having a missile tipped with a nuke warhead.)

10. I do not believe that is so.
I think she said that if Iran launched a nuclear attack on Israel she would retaliate and obliterate them. She was asked what she would do. If you can show me something otherwise, I would be happy to read it, but I have never seen anything indicating a pre-emptive strike. Never.

They are both saber rattling and making strong statements of deterrence. They both realize that Iran does not and will not soon have nuclear weapons.

14. Here are two YouTube links
Edited on Sat May-03-08 08:25 PM by truedelphi
This first one is Hillary mouthing off about our need to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of Israel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEwQIpyu9lA&feature=related

Here is the link to Obama - to me Obama is given "pause" over the notion of immediately obliterating anyone or anything - notice he mentions diplomacy, he mentions how the country needs to adapt a different posture than the one taken by Bush

16. Hmm. This sort of supports the theory I have
I don't know of anyone who watches YouTube a lot who supports Hillary.

People who are influenced mainly by TV support Hillary over Obama.

But when you put YouTube into the equation, Hillary loses.

And quite a few times during this campaign season I have thought to myself "Hillary doesn't know about YouTube"

Because she will say something at eleven in the morning and then contradict what she said at 2Pm and she seems unaware that people share their videos of her and that OH MI GAWD, she will say one thing at one stop and another at another. Without apparently realizing that the public is on to her.

17. I don't watch TV (other than PBS and LOST) either.
I do go to YouTube quite frequently. I am currently in a location where my download speeds are abysmal.

But you have just supported a theory I have.

Most people on DU assume that anyone who dares to question Obama is a Clinton supporter. You assumed it, even though you do not know it to be true.

Too bad sig lines are turned off.

... to boost her image among the Neanderthal crowd that she constantly tries to appeal to.
