I thought both Clinton and Obama made good, sound speeches today,
in North Carolina. Good to see statewide candidates share the podium, as well. Kudos to whomever arranged the event, it was a good showcase for broad Democratic policies and our candidates, up and down the ticket.

1. Didn't see Clinton's
I was still at work. I did not see Obama's whole speech but I saw the last 10-15 minutes...amazing. What did Clinton say in hers?

5. She spoke to some specifics for a possible presidency, he spoke to larger themes for a possible
presidency. Two pretty different approaches, all told, considering they have many similar positions. Both referenced the history being made in this race. It's worth a look, imo, probably available at C-SPAN, on line or as a repeat on TV.

And I really liked that state candidates got some time - we overlook some of these state and Congressional races in the midst of our loooong primary. A reminder to keep our eyes on the prize.

7. if I was a total jackass.....
and only voted for the candidate who I thought dressed better, I would be forced to select Obama. Can't anything be done about Hill's double knit leisure suits....god my mom, who is 82, dresses hipper than she does?????

I don't consider myself a jackass, but I am I still going to Vote for GOBama!

10. I can't even look at
her so I get to miss all those riveting fashion statements of hilary clinton's. But, if they're anything like her statements on Obama or her pandering to anything that moves then I'll just consider myself lucky.

12. It was a good presentation of a Democratic ticket for the state.
NC is important to building a Democratic "base", to use an overworked term, on a national and state level.

16. Was it a mostly pro-Obama crowd, or did they each have an equal number of supporters?
