4. Screaming, panicking, wild baseless accusations, nonstop threats of boycotting elections...
Wait, no, that's not what a JeffJax Dinner is like. I don't know what place I was thinking of, instead. Actually J-J dinners are harmless: bunch of people eat okay catered dinners, chitchat about politics, then hear a go-get-em speech or two of various quality.

It's a nice place to meet fellow Dems, find out what's going locally, then later go get drunk with new people and catch some serious gossip.

5. Bad food and good speakers
I went to a JJ where Bill Clinton spoke. It was great.

You'll enjoy it.

6. Rowdy.
At least that was the case here in Philly.

Hillary was, um, not well received.

8. I've been to one.
It's a lot of people sitting at tables listening to speakers. You meet many prominent Democrats both at the state and national level. My husband and I went right after the 2000 theft. Definitely go, you will have a great time!
