Even more connection between Hillary and NC robocall voter supression group:
In our earlier investigation revealing the outfit behind the misleading and illegal robo-calls made to North Carolina voters just days before a critical primary election, we reported that questions have been raised about the connections between that group -- the D.C.-based nonprofit Women's Voices Women Vote -- and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

We noted, for example, that WVWV Founder and President Page Gardner has donated generously to Clinton and to HILLPAC, but has given nothing to the Obama campaign, according to OpenSecrets.org. We also noted that WVWV Executive Director Joe Goode previously worked as a pollster for Bill Clinton, and that WVWV board member John Podesta is the former chief of staff for President Clinton as well as a Hillary Clinton donor.

There are other connections that we did not mention, but that have been pointed out in comments here and at other sites. For example, Maggie Williams is a former member of WVWV's leadership team, according to Sourcewatch.org; she also served as chief of staff to First Lady Hillary Clinton and to the Clinton Foundation in New York, and she was named the manager of Clinton's campaign in February. And Holly Schadler, WVWV's attorney, helped set up the Back to Business Committee in 1994 to defend Bill and Hillary Clinton from attacks by political enemies.

But one of the most striking connections between WVWV and the Clinton campaign -- and one particularly relevant to a story involving what appear to be voter suppression efforts right before an election -- was pointed out to us by a reader. He notes that the firm in charge of voter outreach for WVWV is MSHC Partners, whose president is Hal Malchow. Sourcewatch.org reports that Malchow was a member of WVWV's leadership team. At the same time, MSHC also does direct mail and outreach for the Hillary Clinton campaign. In fact, the campaign owes MSHC $807,000, according to Politico.com.

1. This is far more important than Obama's pastor or any other "scandal."
Is Hillary Clinton's campaign responsible for this blatant effort to suppress the African American vote in North Carolina? If not, then how does she explain all her ties to this disgusting group?

Hillary Clinton needs to explain right now.

Howard Dean should call Hillary personally and tell her to get out
of the race because she either knew about this and did nothing or
fails to know what people in her campaign are doing.

Voter suppression plain and simple and "it" should never be
any part of the democratic party.

5. This needs to be addressed by HRC
On it's face it is such a disgusting claim. If she doesn't respond this is just one more item that could go on a memo citing all the racially insensitive things her campaign has done.

I wanted to leave the country when Bush got re-elected. I'm having those same feeling if HRC wins the election.

8. This seems to be much worse than the other issues.
If Clinton's campaign is involved with this group, then they are involved with a systematic effort to deprive African American voters of their vote through intimidation and lies.

There's a long precedent for that in this country, and it's ugly. First African Americans were brought to this country in chains, denied the right to even be considered human. Even after slavery was abolished, African Americans were systematically oppressed, forced into economic servitude that was little better than slavery, and denied constitutional rights. Even after African Americans were give the right to vote - not yet 100 years ago, even - they were denied access to the polls through all kinds of legal and illegal manuevers, from dirty tricks to intimidation to poll taxes to literacy tests and so forth.

Even after the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s did away with the more blatant abuses, many African Americans continued to see their access to voting barred through intimidation, misinformation, and outright theft.

This group, which is active in at least eleven states, is nothing less than an effort to disenfranchise voters. That is totally un-American. It is shocking that Hillary Clinton's campaign has anything to do with the group.

The Clinton campaign has serious explaining to do. This is really bad.
