End of story. Get it? The right is locking and loading and salivating over the prospect of a Clinton nomination. Why the eff do you think that is?

1. I disagree. If you aren't supporting the candidate the Right is bashing,
Edited on Thu May-01-08 02:26 PM by sfexpat2000
you're helping them damage our front runner. If Clinton were the front runner, they'd be bashing her.

They don't care who our nominee is. They just want to make sure s/he limps into November.

If you are facilitating that, you might as well put up your McWar sign up now.

5. if you've been paying attention you'd know they were pumping her up pre-SuperTuesday, when she was
the front runner. Why would they do THAT?

9. That was a hundred years ago. You expect me to remember that?
:)

Did that really happen? I remember Tweety and others going off on her regularly while she was still on top of the heap.

I do agree with you that the Republicans WANT to run against a Clinton. But, the media is a little different. They want to keep the story going for as long as possible, imo.

Do you remember how they were pumping her up? The meme or whatever? I must have been to upset about John dropping out or something.

14. buchanan and scarborough in particular were hammering away at Obama
and saying Clinton would crush him on Super Tuesday. Buchanan went off about how the media was pumping Obama at her expense. Why was Pat Buchanan taking up for Clinton when she was the front runner?

I'm not going to argue that MSM liked him--and liked him a lot--early on. But RW media has loved HER all along, since before she announced and Joe Scarborough proclaimed she'd be the next president of the United States.

4. Either Clinton or Obama
will beat McCain. The right wing hate machine will unmercifully trash whomever the Dem nominee is because that is what they do best. McCain won't be running his campaign, rove and limbaugh and the rest of the hateful and ignorant wing of the part of responsibility will be running it.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MCCAIN AND BUSH IS THAT MCCAIN'S MILITARY SERVICE WAS DONE IN AN HONORABLE FASHION - pass it on. Tested and guaranteed to piss off fake patriots from coast to coast.

15. The right was salivating over an Obama victory a few weeks ago
It's not that the right wants Clinton to win. It's that it knows Obama has already locked the nomination, and the right is acting accordingly.
