Interesting delegate graph on Wikipedia...
Edited on Thu May-01-08 11:52 AM by krispos42

Awful lot of deep purple, awful little deep green.

(insert famous guitar riff here)

Now, yeah, I know geographica state size is not representative of state populations, but you get the idea.

1. I would REALLY like to see this map, except broken down by district. Actually, I think

5. You mean this one?

Note: colors do not show the intensity of the win like in the above graph. A 51-49 squeaker is the same color as a 70-30 blowout. I am pretty sure that the average margin of victory in an Obama district is much larger than in a Clinton distric.

8. Yeah, this one shows counties. What would be sad is to see the delegate differential by districts,
Edited on Thu May-01-08 11:58 AM by beat tk
and to see how many districts came out tied, and to compare that to the popular vote margin, thereby getting an idea of how many people's votes had zero impact on the election because of stupid 2/2 delegate splits, or 1/1 delegate splits etc.

Man I am super anti-delegate today.

10. Yes, but the Superdelegates like the color green
It's soothing, you see. So the remaing 250 or so are all going to go for Clinton!

3. And for comparison, here is Al Gore's popular-vote victory over George Bush.

9. I note that my state appears to be the one strongest in favor of her
And yet I find it strange that I have only seen two bumper stickers for her on cars--and this included a trip to Little Rock, far away from the reddest part of the state where I live. Little Rock and Fayetteville are the only towns I've been through where I've seen yard signs for her. Ron Paul signs were more numerous, and some are still up.

Very strange.
