Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) posted a 17% rise in first-quarter net income, driven by surging crude oil prices, which also led the company's margins to continue shrinking as the oil giant also dealt with lower production volumes.

6. Nationalize the oil industry
Lock up their corporate buzzards in very small cells.
Freeze gas prices.
Use the profits for universal health care.

Yeah, like this rancid country of fucking morons would ever do anything like that.

10. Someone in Congress --- and I may have read it here --- is trying to
say that the nation is facing such an EMERGENCY because of gas prices -- such a threat to
stability of the nation -- that Congress should declare an "emergency" and nationalize the
oil industry.

Trust that's fairly accurate . . . and isn't that posted here at DU somewhere???
