Hillary Clinton Xerox' John McCains Republican stance on the gas tax.
Anyone that understands supply and demand understands this is a a bait and switch that will not help john q public at the pumps as any lowering of the tax will increase demand and then increase price at the same or more offset, making more for the gas companies and less benefit for the American people.
Shes a smart person, she must know thats true, so why would she take that stance and why now?
Because she offered it as a concession to the AFL CIO Presidents that are also superdelegates, she is bargaining away our interest to the corporations of the gas companies and organized trucking, welcome to the future and the past of Hillary's representation and compromise of monied interest over mom and pop public.
What can help her is far more important than what can help people, because after all she knows what we the american voter "really" needs more than we do which is the very basis of her campaign, she knows better than us and if she helps the rich they might do something to help us.
One day after announcing her gas tax plan she suddenly gets not one but two AFL CIO presidents/superdelegates that go AGAINST their memberships, the working men and women of the union, endorsement of Obama to back her.
Were being sold out.
NO THANK YOU HILLARY. WE SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE. NO MORE. NOT THIS TIME. WERE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT.
