Newest (or oldest) Hillary fan scam on DU
The angle de jour is to go way down on the sunken list and resurrect by kick anything about a certain pastor. Remember, hide thread is your friend. The sign of a campaign in its death throes, nothing original (except that fine gas tax scam, straight from Nixon's heart to Hillary's mouth) and even supporters have to resort to drudgery - Hey, that's like Drudge, isn't it?

9. I instituted a mass extinction
I simply got fed up with (1) that practice of some posters suddenly dredging up their old threads, and (2) the constant attacks on Obama. So, I decided until Hillary bows out, I'm ignoring all threads started by her supporters. The easy way is to put the author on ignore, which gets rid of all their threads at once.

Every day I have to add a few sock puppets to the list, and make their threads go away.

What remains is a board I can read and still see discussed every issue on the campaign trail, without all the disruptors and kamikazes.

I use hide thread for posters I like starting threads I don't care to see, for whatever reason. It may be as simple a reason as there are already 8 other Rev. Wright threads.

14. I even hide threads because they have too many responses
You know, after a thread has a couple hundred responses and it's a day old or two, is anything new really being said?

10. They are also into Psyche Ops, promoting false hope about Hillary's chances
and attempting to shake the resolve of the weaker supporters of Barack.

It would be effective if it wasn't so evident, e.g., posting polls without links that tout their failed candidate, etc....

Barack supporters having been led to have low expectations about what White People will do are taking the bait.

I say don't.

Most of our congressional members understand that Hillary on the ticket will be lethal....and that certain segments of the Democratic party or new to the Democratic party would be staying home in droves.

the first time I saw footage of her speech where she claimed the lead in popular vote totals. Not that I care one way or the other, but does she really think that people don't notice this crap? Even if it's not an outright lie, there can be no argument it's a distortion of the actual standings.

35. I imagine a Boiler Room full of PC's and little 007 Wannabe's
composing reams of BS, little essays on whatever their latest little game is... "why I switched" or the BS du jour.

What a life, eh?

Man hours are cheap in America. To dedicate ALL this human energy to the end of having a negligible little impact on some obscure website.

It's like fishing. They dangle out the bait... and I've noticed this, Frenchie, or anyone... If they get fronted OFF immediately... they stop posting and the thread sinks.

If they get a couple of people that are willing to talk to them like they're not charlatans... they wax all sincere and engage... thread waving down the page with back and forth.

I'm embarrassed for them I think.

Workin for the man, like that... no pride. Just ho'in for chump change. It's sad.

Yesterday I thought about attempting an intervention... even gave them some reading material... gave up some facts.

I had a friend... 3 stretches in Texas penitentiaries...never had a job until he was 40 years old... when he got clean he dedicated his life to doing interventions... for kids in school before they get sucked into gangs. He had a van... would cruise with a Social Worker... picking up prostitutes and offering them rehab and job training.

I just can't imagine... some of these people are pretty smart... ending up "ho'in'" like that.

It's just sad.

19. I don't understand
Why don't you just put these people on ignore? The more people who don't respond to those post the better. I have no idea what you are talking about because I have so many of them on ignore. I hear tale that there are quite a few Rev. Wright threads but I don't see them. What does bug me about ignore is that they always seem to be the first one to respond to reasonable threads.

Every thread that has "wright" in the title is hidden for me. And, my Ignore list is long enough that a lot of the idiots are blocked as well.

It's quieter that way.

Fuck 'em. I'm not interested in "having a dialog" with them or listening to their incessant howling. It's not productive. We're not gonna change each other's minds, and I'm tired of seeing their mean-spirited crap.
